Excellence Driving Academy Southern- enrolments open
Located in the South City Shopping Centre on Colombo Street, Excellence Driving Academy Southern offers a premier solution for learners in Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region. Established in 2010, this branch is renowned for its exceptional success rate, with 95% of students passing their restricted license test on the first attempt, significantly outperforming the national average. By appointment only, the academy provides a focused and professional environment designed to help you achieve your driving freedom faster and safer.
What sets Excellence Driving Academy apart is its innovative use of world-leading Exail driving simulators. This technology allows trainees to practice in a 100% risk-free environment, accelerating the learning process by up to three times compared to traditional road training alone. This method is particularly beneficial for those who are scared, anxious, or nervous about driving, as it removes the pressure of live traffic while building essential hazard awareness and confidence. Many students have achieved their restricted license in as little as 12 hours of combined simulator and on-road practice.
The academy caters to a diverse range of learners, including beginners, pre-test candidates, and those requiring rehabilitation or disability support. Instructors are fully qualified and experienced, offering training in both automatic and manual vehicles, whether using the academy’s cars or your own. The curriculum emphasizes defensive driving techniques, ensuring that graduates become not just licensed, but truly competent and safe drivers for life. The team is dedicated to removing the stress from the learning journey, providing supportive guidance from the first lesson all the way through to passing your test.
