Fantastic experience: Thank you, Graham, Paul, and Keys. I had lessons with all of them once, and they were all great. They were patient and encouraging even when I doubted my driving skills. They also made me feel at ease during the lessons. I don't like driving, but they made me think that it is not as bad as it seems. Thank you for being part of my journey to getting a full driving license. I got it because of you!

Collette, the administrator, was fantastic—she made scheduling lessons so easy and was always clear and helpful in answering any questions I had. Graham, my driving instructor, was absolutely amazing. He’s a great teacher—patient, encouraging, and always provided clear, constructive feedback that really helped me improve my skills. Thanks to his guidance, I was able to pass my test and get my restricted license. I highly recommend this driving school for anyone looking for professional, friendly, and effective driving lessons!

Fantastic experience: I had been to a couple of driving schools but they weren’t the right fit for me. Graham is an amazing teacher, we’ve had a big journey together but he got me over the line to achieve my restricted licence first go. Easily the best driving school in a Christchurch. Graham is kind, patient and supportive. I highly recommend Zebedee Driving school if you want to be taught by the best. Big ups to Collette from admin for always being so prompt and accommodating with lessons and courses. I’ll be forever greatful to you guys and already missing my weekly drives with Graham.

Negative experience: Witnessed a "driving instructor" driving at 100km p/h on the motorway while watching his phone on the steering wheel not looking forward and paying attention to the road. Shocking behavior for a driving school as this is clearly illegal and puts other lives at risk.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend!! Graham and Collette were amazing, going the extra mile to arrange lessons. One very happy teenager successfully passed her restricted in a manual, thanks to Zebedees.

Fantastic experience: Collette was super nice and so much help with booking my driving lessons and helping me find available restricted tests, I also had graham as my lesson instructor and he was absolutely brilliant, super helpful and understanding on learning at my pace. Would not have passed my restricted without either of their help. Would highly recommend Zebedee driving school.

Negative experience: Instructors just expect you to know everything, I didn’t feel like I was being helped or “taught” at all. really aggressive and made me uncomfortable. do NOT recommend still traumatised til this day!

Fantastic experience: The Zebedee Driving School was the best choice that I made regarding my license. I started from scratch in January as a learner and I booked my restricted in March for June. I only had a couple of lessons and was able to get the required skills. Key is an amazing instructor who guided me from the start. My huge gratitude goes to Key and as well as Paul who helped me with my mock test. Zebedee Driving School is the best and can recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with Zebedee! Collette the Administrator is so helpful and my driving instructor Graham was amazing! I had been really nervous about my lessons and about passing my restricted test but Graham made the whole thing a breeze. He gave me tips and advice when needed, as well as reassurance and encouragement. He genuinely made it feel like the easiest thing in the world and I passed my test with ease thanks to him!

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for the best driving school in Christchurch, look no further, it is Zebedee. After many years of trying to learn with different schools in ChCh, I am so glad to have come across Graham and his school. He is an excellent instructor who really takes the time to understand how he can best help his students gain the confidence and skills they need, not just to pass a test but to be safe and responsible on the road. And the results speak for themselves: while once I thought driving was just not for me, today I passed my restricted test with no issues and on the first attempt! Besides having a top-of-the-line instructor, the school also has an excellent administrator, Collette, who is always very responsive and can help organize your lessons in a whiz.

Fantastic experience: Keys has been such an amazing teacher. He taught me how to parallel park and how to be a safe driver on the road. I wouldn't of passed if it wasn't for him. I definitely recommend Keys if you need help with your driving. A big thank you to Keys and Collette.

Fantastic experience: As someone with anxiety, driving was a big struggle and huge hurdle for me, especially coupled with the stigma of learning to drive in my 20s. I can safely say that Graham helped me conquer my fear of driving with his positive attitude and teaching style in lessons. Graham was always pleasant to chat with and always answered my questions, and shows good visual and video examples of why we do things on the road with easy ways to practice even when you're not out driving in-between. Negative experience: Just witnessed one of the instructors setting some great driving examples by performing illegal right turn, cutting off traffic, aggressively mounting a curb on a footpath near a school that just let out students. Quality driving.... I'd look somewhere else for your driving instruction.

Fantastic experience: Really great experience learning from Graham. He is very patient and teaches you everything perfectly. Makes you believe in yourself and gives you continuous encouragement. And because of that passed the restricted in first attempt. Highly recommend Zebedee. Collette was really good to communicate with and always answers all your queries with all possible information.

Fantastic experience: Hadn't noticed a review I made a while ago didn't actually post, but Graham was a great instructor and his lessons have stuck with me for a long time now, he helped make passing the restricted and full test easy as, and even when the lessons were interrupted by the lockdown when we came back everything worked just fine.

Negative experience: NGE201, what a terrible driver you are. You quickly came to a complete stop on a corner. We waited behind to understand your intentions, and you waved us to pass you. We did so, but saw you gesticulating and yelling from your driver window. You're lucky you were alone in the car without a student. Especially when you then reversed without a clear view behind. What an abhorrent display of driving, and especially shameful from an instructor. I strongly suggest you need to be retrained.

Fantastic experience: Graham is amazing and he taught my 16yr old everything she needed to know to ensure she passed her restricted first time. Grahams sense of humour is a plus along with his professionalism. He took the time to always inform us as parents how each lesson had gone. Collette has the best communication and keeps you informed without fail. Easy to deal with and responds to queries fast. She was super amazing also when my daughters test was postponed and we had to move lessons around to fit the new test time. The service are fantastic and would highly recommend Graham and the Zebedee team to anyone looking for an amazing driving school. I will be in touch next year to book her defensive driving course and lesson before sitting her full license.

Fantastic experience: Almost ashamed to say that after driving for nearly 50 years and having passed the driving test two times in the last six years, Zebedee still managed to teach me some things and that was as Graham was finishing the lessons for my son! I recommend Zebedee for your consideration.

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous about learning to drive in my mid 20s, but Graham put my mind at ease very quickly!! He was super patient and had no trouble repeating himself when I didn't umderstand something. He clearly invests a lot in his students and I'll happily recommend this driving school to others =) Collette was also lovely to deal with and made booking lessons stress-free!

Fantastic experience: I am very happy with their service. I came from overseas and after 8 years of pause in driving. I was so scared to start driving again, in another country and in the left side of the road. I bought the 5 lessons package and the instructor Peter was so amazing to teach me everything in such a short time. I passed the test easily. I just give the all attributes to Zebedee. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: This is my second lesson with Graham, but I am feeling so much more confident with driving! I am due to take my driving test in a few weeks, and I use to avoid parallel parking, but today I learnt how easy it can be! Practice makes perfect! Fantastic experience: I found Graham to be a fantastic teacher! I was someone who was incredibly anxious about driving initially and after a few lessons I saw that slowly drift away. The best part about his teaching is that he teaches you more than what you need to know for the restricted test making sure you are as prepared as possible. Recommend him for anyone, especially for those who deal with anxiety surrounding driving. I’m now getting my brother involved with him!

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Graham enough! I had 7 lessons with Graham before sitting my restricted and found him and his lessons to be amazing for someone with anxiety around driving. Both of Graham’s cars, the heaviness and smoothness of the Mazda and the Toyota provided me with a sense of safety and control compared to the Suzuki swift and Holden trax I had perviously used with other driving schools. I could not recommend Graham enough and how amazing his lessons are!

Once he got me ready for the test he did not milk me for more lessons till that time as some others do. Collette in the office very efficient as great to deal with. I have had x3 driving instructors before Graham who all had the same feedback “too nervous” I was giving up on the idea of ever getting my licence. Thankfully I gave it one last try and reached out to Zebedee. I was instantly confident that I’d found my driving school, Collette is so patient and professional. She leaves no question unanswered when you are booking lessons and getting registered. I cannot thank Graham enough for his patience, kindness and reassurance. Thank you for giving me the most important gift an education, I can honestly say I would be still oblivious of the road rules without your knowledge. Again cannot recommend Zebedee enough, they provide so much more than the standard lesson to get you to your licence. Cannot wait to reach out to Graham and Collette again to continue on my Journey and do Defensive Driving course and eventually Full Class 1. When I first came to Graham to prepare for my restricted driving test I had already been through 4 very well admired driving schools, none of which could even get me out of my subdivision as I was so Anxious and nervous from the minute I put my foot on the accelerator. Within 10 lessons and a lot of passion and patience Graham got me zooming around the streets in no time while also keeping in close contact with my dad who would help me with my driving also. I really appreciate everything Graham has done to help me achieve my goal of where I wanted to be and I highly recommend him to anyone who finds stepping out of their comfort zone difficult just as much I once did.

Fantastic experience: We managed to get a last minute booking with Graham through a lucky cancellation the day before my daughter sat her driving test. He was so kind and easy to deal with, gave a huge positive boost and she passed her restricted test the following day. Fantastic experience: After trying the driving test twice, I suddenly realised that I needed professional help. Zebedee Driving School in the person of Graham, was for me, heaven's sent. Whilst maintaining professionalism, he showed patience and understanding especially when I was just starting my driving lessons with him.
