Big L Driving School

Expert Instruction from a Former Testing Agent

Big L Driving School, located in the heart of the Hibiscus Coast, has established itself as a premier choice for learner drivers in Auckland, serving areas such as Orewa and Silverdale. What truly sets PK apart is his extensive background as a former test agent. This unique perspective allows him to offer students an in-depth understanding of the Driver Testing process, including specific Restricted and Full Licence test routes. Rather than just teaching driving, he prepares learners exactly for what examiners look for, providing clarity on what is required to pass with flying colours.

A Personalized Approach to Safety and Confidence

Students consistently highlight PK's exceptional patience and ability to put nervous drivers at ease. Whether teaching teenagers or adults returning to the road after decades, the instructor tailors his methods to individual learning styles. He focuses not only on passing the exam but on fostering safe, confident driving habits. Parents particularly appreciate that he instills assertiveness without encouraging risky behaviour, ensuring that learners feel secure and comfortable behind the wheel from their very first session.

Comprehensive Support and Clear Feedback

The school distinguishes itself through a rigorous follow-up system. After every lesson, students receive detailed email summaries outlining what was covered, areas for improvement, and tips to remember. This structured approach ensures that practice between sessions is effective and targeted. The instruction covers everything from basic vehicle control and parking techniques to advanced hazard perception and road code rules, making it an ideal choice for converting overseas licences as well.

• Extensive Route Knowledge: Familiarity with local test routes in Silverdale and beyond.
• Detailed Written Feedback: Post-lesson emails to guide home practice.
• Mock Tests: Realistic practice sessions that simulate exam conditions.
• All Licence Levels: Support from Learner's to Restricted and Full Licences.
