Fantastic experience: I'm glad I made the switch from my previous instructor to Avi. I had four 2 hours lessons (Super 8 Lessons) with Avi and during each session he was very understanding and patient. Despite me being far for him and being out of his typical operating zones, he still took the time to drive out my way to teach me, very much grateful for that. My previous instructor made parallel parking all confusing with different angles and distances so I never got it down despite the many lessons I had with them. However with Avi's simple and clear explanation, I was actually able to get a grasp on parallel parking. Avi trains you to become a good and safe driver, he doesn't sugar coat things and makes sure you're aware of what you need work on all while maintaining a supportive demeanor. Passed my restricted at Wiri on my first attempt. Great instructor, highly recommend :)

Positive experience: Positive: He showed up on time and had very strong grasp of the key rules of driving, good at identifying the weakness of the individual and make suggestions to rectify them. Negatives: I finished about 10-15 mins prior to the official 2 hours lesson should have ended. He can sometimes be unintentionally mean/ grumpy. He did not know about some of the more rare rules like being able to backup the car up to 7 meters when parallel parking. He quickly taught me things that I can improve upon. However, on some things he became quite fixated on and felt like he was flexing his knowledge rather than teaching me things. Review and Rating: He was very good however I felt like he could have been great if he had a bit more chill vibes to him when explaining things you messed up and knew about some of the rare rules like one mentioned above. I would rate him a 8/10 for that. If you can drive without him being able to identify mistakes and then you will likely pass the test.

Fantastic experience: Driving in a new country with new rules can be intimidating for any new driver . Avi is a calm and friendly instructor who got me comfortable on NZ roads. His tips and tricks to navigate through areas and situations are both useful and interesting . He always says after he teaches the technique/ manoeuvre - Practice, practice and only practice will make you achieve your goal! I wish him all the best as he continues to teach students to be safe and confident drivers.

Fantastic experience: Got lessons because I had my restricted driving test coming up. Got clear and informative lessons that taught me much more than what I needed to just pass the test, but to also be a good driver. My instructor identified all my issues on the first lesson, and we worked through them in subsequent lessons. I passed my restricted first time with their help, would definitely recommend going here if you need lessons. Very fair prices and friendly service.

Negative experience: VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Avi he's the reason i failed my test and he crashed my car!!!!

Negative experience: I had a poor experience with this driving school because the instructor was rude and racist to me, and he would look at me and tell me to turn right when I did, and when I did, he would say you were supposed to turn left and yell at me.

Fantastic experience: I had a driving lesson with Avi who helped me out so much with my driving, was really kind and supportive and let me know exactly what I needed to know and do to pass my restricted license test. Because of this I passed at Manukau

Negative experience: Avi made me feel like a burden to him when I was taught driving by him, he would also make fun of other races and judged my financial situations.Don't recommend him to anyone. So glad I left after 3 lessons

Negative experience: very unprofessional as he would always arrive 15 mins late for my 2 hour classes and drop me off before 20 mins early. Avi is a grumpy 40 year old who just wants money and doesn't teach driving at all. I was better off learning online

Negative experience: I had avi for about 5 lessons then I had decided to stop as he was very rude and scolded me on multiple occasions which led to me crying. I wouldn't recommend anyone day and nite driving School

Fantastic experience: Extremely fortunate to have only needed a couple of driving lessons with Avi to fine tune my driving skills a month before sitting my practical test. A very patient and friendly instructor, full of in depth knowledge and constructive feedback which helped me with my confidence towards driving and passing my test. Very useful and well worth the money spent. I highly recommend getting in a few sessions with Avi especially before sitting any practical tests. Fantastic experience: Started taking lessons with Avi (instructor) so I can progress to my Restricted licence. He is a very good teacher. He is calm, understanding and is excellent at teaching me how to drive! Defiantly would recommend anyone who wants to learn how to drive, refine their driving skills and gain confidence behind the wheel.
