Fantastic experience: Immensely helpful and kind tutors, that helped me pass both practical driving test. I've learnt from two different instructors (Victor and Emi) across two areas of Auckland and both were incredibly knowledgeable on the routes and very giving with all the information necessary to pass!

Fantastic experience: Victor, is very kind and paient when teaching you. He would even go over the time just to keep teaching me. My past instructors got impaient and would get irritated at me. (AA instructors) I had one lesson with him to see what I need to work on, then I booked my test, and booked him again before my driving test. His teachings helped me get my restricted on the first try! Great service, good price,highly recommend! ❤️❤️

Negative experience: worst of the worst! Made an appointment with Ray a week ago he said to meet at ANZ Bank in Sylvia park. I double checked with him so we are meeting in front of ANZ Bank at Sylvia part? This guy said yes. I arrived at ANZ bank 5 mins earlier and told him that I am already here, in front of ANZ Bank. This guy said he will be 2 mins late. 5 MINS late after the appointment time he called, asked me to meet him at VTNZ sylvia park, and said that's we were supposed to meet. Excuse me??? So why would you say "yes" for so many times when I ask you if we are meeting at ANZ Bank in Sylvia park?? I told him that there will be another 10 mins drive for me. He was like "that's ok, I can wait". Excuse me??? I asked leave from work to run the test with you and every singe minute counts for me. I am not ok to waist time!. Called the 0800 line to complain and cancel the appointment, after I explain the whole story, the guy said "that's ok, I'll tell him." OMG, this is not about simply cancel the appointment, this is a complain. And there is no Apology at all. I would give negative stars if the option is available.

Fantastic experience: Victor is a super good tutor!!! With his help I successfully passed practical test! I took 5 hours packages, every day learned different things. Now can drive with confidence.

Never rushed the lesson and always asks if you have any questions or particular driving tasks that you'd like to concentrate on. Fantastic experience: Update, I have come back to Victor for my Full Drivers license test 5 years later. I booked vehicle with x 1 lesson before my test. It was the best decision, I passed first time using automatic vehicle. I highly recommend yet again! Excellent service!! Victor is a very patient, friendly and highly knowledgeable instructor!! Recommend at the highest regards. I took manual car lessons and Restricted licence driving lessons. Genuine, efficient and trustworthy!! Fantastic experience: Hi all. I took my full license conversion practical test today at AA Penrose and I passed it. I would like to thank my instructor - Victor for the useful insights and guidance he provided during the lessons. I have been driving for the past 15 years but it was my first attaining a full license in NZ. Victor has been a great instructor, so precise and definite. And without his coaching, I wouldn't have made it today!

Fantastic experience: Great experience. I thought I'm ready to take the restricted exam but I'm not really. I did a simulated driving test on an actual test route. He told me what will they be expecting and what things would warrant an immediate fail. Gave me tips, advice and a scoring sheet with details on what to improve on. Very worth it when you compare it to the cost of a retake.

Fantastic experience: I had driving test simulation with Victor two weeks before I had my restricted test (I was very nervous because I had failed the first time around). I was instantly put at ease, he was encouraging and showed me all the routes that later came in the test. I thought this was the best driving lesson I have had as I wasn't bogged with too much information and was given very practical advice. I could not have passed without my lesson from Alert Driving School.

Fantastic experience: Ray was amazing and was very patient and helpful in teaching me. I had no idea of the road rules in practice, was not confident at the beginning and committed a lot of mistakes. More importantly I needed the full driving licence for my Job!! But soon I got better in driving and every time Ray pointed me the pitfalls. I am really happy that i passed my test. Fantastic experience: Victor from Alert is a great instructor. I'm normally a nervous driver during driving lessons, but Victor made me feel at ease and was patient and thorough. Not only did he point out mistakes I was making and told me what I ought to have done in a pleasant manner, but he also wrote down on a form everything that I needed to work on. Upon asking I was also told that I could email him with any further questions I had, and he replied very promptly too! In addition Victor sent me a list of the test criteria and common reasons why people fail. When I asked to be reimbursed for my petrol costs (as we used my car instead of his), Victor said yes readily and informed me I could subtract whatever cost I felt was fair. I would highly recommend Victor for anyone who needs a friendly and professional driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: I took some lessons with Victor in order to prepare for my full driver's license test. All I can say is that he is very experienced, professional and very patient. Fantastic experience: Excellent value for money. Victor spent eighty minutes for the mock driver's license test and pointed out the areas for improvement. He was calm and composed and offered handy tips after subtle observations. I request him to be a little more audible as his voice is very very gentle - although I am getting using the Kiwi accent over here.

Fantastic experience: Victor was the second instructor I had over the course of learning to drive and going for my licenses. He is very good at explaining what needs to be done in situations and is very calm and patient which is something that lacked in my first instructor. It was a relief as learning to drive can be nervewrecking for many people and having a calm instructor is very important. He also provided me with alot of useful information before going for my license which aided me as well as going for lessons in passing both my restricted and full license first time
