Fantastic experience: I did a gravel/adventure course with Glen Leyston recently. Glen is very knowledgeable, patient, a strong communicator, and provides guidance, examples, and instructions with precision. He created a safe learning environment where people of different levels feel comfortable challenging themselves and building confidence in riding in diverse environments and conditions. His hill start exercises and practicing braking downhill were particularly useful. Attending Glen’s courses allowed me to complete the recent Motomapped 1 Big Day event, including all challenge sections. I was not able to do that before. I look forward to each course and highly recommend Glen’s courses.

Fantastic experience: I did my full license test with Glen Leyston and have ridden with him many times on gravel since then. Glen has awesome off-road skills accumulated from his early rally experience in Roof of Africa and Toyota 1000 in South Africa. Riding with Glen, not only can you imitate his riding performance but also you might attain some suggestions on your suspension settings from him, attributed to his decades experience of being a motor mechanic.

Fantastic experience: I did my beginner training with Glen Leyston. An amazing teacher - he's helped me all the way to my full license - fellow ex-South African that really knows everything about bikes.

Fantastic experience: First used them for Basic handling test and completed multiple ride forever courses. Always a breeze dealing with them. All trainers are very knowledgeable special mention for Chris Smith and Glen Leyston who helped me to get my full license recently. Strongly recommend them if you need to sharpen your riding skills and guaranteed to learn something new everytime. They also provide great bikes on hire like Trident 660 and Z 650 for completing training and courses. Passmasters will be my go to for any future rideforever courses. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I did the 30min training + 6F + Bike Hire with Ben at Hobsonville last Sunday. Ben was a great instructor. The training and course were very detailed and the bike hire was a brand new bike. I would highly recommend Passmasters to anyone. Thanks to Ben and the Passmasters Rider Training team for such a great experience!

Fantastic experience: Have done 3 courses with Glen (Silver, Gold and Gravel) and cannot praise him highly enough. I had been away from biking for a number of years and was just needing a refresher but every course I take away something else and now have the gravel bug so will look to do some more of those as they come up!! Glen has years of biking and has a ton of stories to tell that link to what he is teaching, definitely worth it!

Fantastic experience: The folks at Passmasters are awesome. Did my Basic Handling Test, Ride Forever Bronze Course and CBTA 6R with Passmasters. The instructors, shoutout to Justin and Glen, are very knowledgeable and patient. I highly recommend Passmasters.

Fantastic experience: I've done two rideforever courses (bronze, silver) with Ben from PassMasters and both times it was a great experience. I definitely am a safer rider now than before and I feel a lot more comfortable and confident riding on twisty rural roads. Ben gave clear, concise and constructive feedback at the end of each session on what we did right and what we could do better, so we could work on improving in the next session. Will be back next year for sure to do more rideforever courses!

Fantastic experience: Just did my Basic Handling with Harmandeep. The guy is excellent! Calm, patient, really nice guy. I've never ridden, I'm 60 years old, and was sure I was going to need an extra lesson or 5. Harman took me through everything slowly and patiently, next thing I know he tells me I passed! I hope I get him again on my next course, he's fantastic!

Fantastic experience: Harman was extraordinary, very patient and helpful. He would take his time and go through every details with you and help you. He made you feel at easy even though you know you have to pass a test with him Absolute 5 stars, would recommend him to any one that is thinking of riding a bike.

Fantastic experience: Got my BHS cert today through Passmasters. Harman was the perfect instructor for someone who had never ridden a motorcycle before. He explained each step really well, didn't rrush through anything and was really patient with me. Highly recommend booking in with this legend.

Just completed my bronze and going for CBTA in May. I don’t think I’d be tracking this fast without Passmasters. Ignore the L plate, had to hide it for a good shot

Fantastic experience: Done my bronze, silver and full licence through Passmasters, cannot recommend them highly enough. Instructors are great and have a heap of experience from various backgrounds, the assessor who did my full licence test did a great job of alleviating my nerves on the day and made the test a lot more enjoyable than it had any right to be. Looking forward to doing my gold and other courses with these guys in the future.

Fantastic experience: I did my all stages ( 6L, 6R, 6F) with Passmasters. My last instructor Brian kerr is the man.He was so friendly, clear instructions, which gave me lot's of confidence to pass my full test. Appreciate his feedback for improvements required.Definitely recommend Passmasters best place to get motorbike driver licence.

Fantastic experience: I did my basic handling skills test with Harman. I had never ridden a motorbike before and was so nervous but Harman was absolutely wonderful. He gave clear instructions and feedback, and provided a lot of encouragement to build my confidence. 10/10 recommend!

Positive experience: Managed to secure a place on Passmasters Gravel & Adventure Coaching. Ben was our coach for the day. He was professional and knowledgeable. The day was relaxed but full on. Fantastic experience: Did 2 hour Basic Handling course and test with Paul Laugalis today (23/03/2022 at 9.30am in Henderson). Never ridden a manual motorcycle before. Paul was very encouraging, patient and gave alot of amazing tips which a beginner would just not know. Really was a fun experience once I got over the nervousness and would definitely come and do more courses with him and passmasters. Highly recommended to anyone who wasnt to do their basic handling test for their learners licence. Even those who have never ridden. Really liked the motorcycle being used for the training and test. Thanks alot Paul, really appreciated.

Fantastic experience: I did the Bronze course with Chris on Saturday and loved it! I was a little nervous but Chris made me feel at ease right from the beginning. There were 6 of us doing the course and everyone was really friendly and supportive. 8 hours is a long time to be riding (with a lot to absorb in that time) but Chris did a great job at breaking up the riding with debrief sessions and an overview of what was coming next. They recommend bringing snacks and I have to agree that a sugar-boost will do wonders later in the afternoon when energy levels start to drop. I learnt so much and feel so much more prepared for my CBTA test. Thanks Chris for all the tips, training and an awesome day!

Fantastic experience: Had a silver course with Ben today in pukehakohe (yeah I spelt that wrong). We rode, a fairly decent amount, Ben was great, gave us all turns and constructive criticism on what we could improve on. Patient and overall great guy. I felt like I learnt some great tips on cornering, emergency stopping, body positioning, bike position in the lane and some road riding tips to prevent any major accidents. Cheers Ben :)

Fantastic experience: My husband and I did our basic skills handling test yesterday with Callan and we were so impressed with how the sessions went. Callan made us feel at ease, he had excellent communication skills and the right ratio of positive praise to constructive feedback so that you felt good about yourself, but also knew what you had to improve on. Fantastic experience: Did the Bronze course with Erik - great, enjoyable session with honest, personalised feedback for me to target specific areas to further up-skill. This prior coaching by Erik was very invaluable in helping me pass the CBTA 6R with Brian and more importantly, be a safer rider. The sense of being watched for every move during a practical test can be very nerve-racking for a self-conscious new rider, but Brian very quickly 'broke the ice', putting me at ease in a relaxed and yet professional testing environment, even with some great light-hearted banter . Brian shared some additional invaluable feedback road craft tips after the test for my ongoing pursuit of refinement. One of the few (if not, only) companies that have the top-of-range, Cardo Packtalk two-way intercoms - invaluable for instantaneous feedback and also light banter! Also Rachel was very proactive in re-organising my bookings disrupted by the recent L3 lockdown. Looking forward to doing another Bronze and Silver course (and even some track-based training) with them prior to my CBTA 6F. These guys are extremely passionate in what they do and genuinely take utmost care to get their customers up-skilled to be safe, professional riders :)

Fantastic experience: Today I did my BHST with paul and he was great im not saying this because I have passed my BHST test but he truly is very knowledgeable, calm and was very patient according to my riding skill I have learnt alot from him today and definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to get on a bike for a first time no doubt..I will definitely be going back to him to gain more knowledge & experience and work towards my full license Paul is best at his work thank you so much Paul u are awesome..

Fantastic experience: Just did my basic handling skills test 1.5hr in Hamilton with Ross, amazing instructor made me feel really confident and less nervous, goes through the basics first till he knows your confident enough to do the test at the end, not as difficult as I thought it would be. Fantastic experience: Incredible Staff, Incredible Training! If you're looking to learn anything relating to Riding, this is the place for you. They have the best instructors in the business, and the admin team do an incredible job of getting helping you get what you need and what is right for you! They cover everything from Learners, all the way to riding improvement for the veteran rider. You can always learn something, no matter how long you have been doing it for!

Fantastic experience: I had the Basic Handling course (2 hours + test) with Paul yesterday (10/02/20 at 10.30am) . I felt very safe the whole time although I had never ridden a motorbike, the instructions given were perfect and easy to put into practice as Paul was very good at explaining exactly what to do and how to do it. The bike itself was perfect to learn on. The gears (helmet and gloves) were really new, clean and well fitted. In addition of being a great instructor, Paul was also a really nice and friendly person. Would recommend to anyone, beginner or more advanced as the instructor adapts the teaching to the learner's personal need.

Fantastic experience: Did the Pass Masters Basic Handling Skills Course on Monday with Paul. He was really patient and gave helpful advice. He made me feel comfortable during the course even when I made small mistakes. He was super positive and knowledgable and I really enjoyed this course. I highly recommend doing the Pass Masters course with Paul :)

Fantastic experience: I did my riding restricted level course and test with the instructor Paul Laugalis just yesterday, and the experience was super great. First, while riding a motorbike provided by him, he was teaching me through headphones on my helmet how to be aware of my surroundings and how to think in advance hence improving my defensive drive in order to be ahead of any situation on the road. It was a wake up that any motorbike rider needs to know to be safe. While having the test, the experience of driving across the gorgeous landscapes of West Auckland, I have learned from Paul to be a better and much better rider. Fantastic experience: Did my Basic Handling Skills with Passmasters with Ian as my instructor. I was very nervous at first but Ian boosted my confidence in riding from 1 to a 10 by the end of the course 1.5 hours. I only had experience in Riding scooters no clutch and gears prior but Ian was very patient, clear and calm with all instructions given. I walked away happy with the knowledge and skills i had achieved. Cheers Ian and thank you Passmasters. I thoroughly enjoyed the course.

Fantastic experience: Best training organisation I have used by far. I have received training from 3 providers in Auckland and Passmasters are the best by far. I have completed 2 bronze courses, a silver course and 2 gold courses with them. I have also completed 2 training days on track with them. Every experience with them has been positive no matter who the instructor was. Chris, Phil, Paul, any of them, they are all great. I would and often do recommend this organisation to any rider looking to become a better and safer rider. I also sat both my restricted and full cbta tests with Passmasters. These were also awesome experiences.

Fantastic experience: I have done 2 courses and my restricted test with these guys, and loved every second of it. The bronze course, run by Paul, vastly improved the confidence and riding skills of both myself and the rest of the group. So much so, that a mere 2 weeks after the course, which was 2 weeks after first getting on a bike, I took their restricted test and passed with flying colours. I can honestly attribute all of this to Paul being so diligent, helpful, friendly and open to questions, making me a much better skilled and more aware rider. After that confidence boost I took on a Gold course. Despite this big jump in difficulty, the instructor Phil was happy to have me along. It was clear that I was the weakest rider there, by quite a long shot, but they always waited for me at intersections, and the entire day was filled with some seriously good advice. In a mere 8 hours I went from awkwardly forcing my bike into corners to understanding the corner, creating a plan and executing on it well. Everything just flowed. I can honestly say that the Gold course gave me not only a whole lot of things to work on, but was also the best day of riding I have had so far. Big ups to the guys that put up with my slower pace. I would highly recommend Passmasters to any rider. The courses are tailored to different skill levels, the instructors I have met are extremely friendly, approachable, open to questions, knowledgeable but most importantly love riding, and instantly made me feel like I belonged. I will be attending their track day, slow skills day, and whatever other courses I can find in the near future.

Negative experience: Sat my restricted and left bitterly disappointed. Stalled their loan bike twice crossing the curb due to the instructor leaving the manual choke on. Loss of confidence and left hand footpeg lifting out of position each time I raised my foot caused a cramp in my hip from trying to put the footpeg back into position. Frustration and pain caused me to cross the centre line at an intersection resulting in a fail. All this in the first five minutes. Pulled over to walk the cramp out and was informed that I had failed. Was offered the opportunity to carry on receiving instruction but declined due to the lack of confidence in myself while on their bike. To start a license attempt having to perform a manoeuvre that would be a fail and stalling twice due to lack of diligence by the instructor is very poor to say the least. If you feel inclined to use passmasters I would recommend you use your own bike or hire one and not rely on ten year old technology. Did not think they rated even one star.

Negative experience: So to be clear the one star is for their lunch. As I have been a rider since the 80s and ride a 1000cc I got stuck by these guys in the crazy fast group. They split the time between the classroom and the track. While I do not profess to be an expert I didn't find any of their instruction helpful. On the track they stress that you must not go fast on the front straight or do wheelies. So I adhered to their conditions. When I reviewed my gopro (rear view) it became obvious that I was holding all the other riders up. Including their instructor that were looking to hoon it on the front straight. And my footage caught their instructor popping a wheelie right out the front of the offices. Seemed like one set of rules for the riders and another for themselves so they can show off a little. fair cop if they need to do that to feel like heros. Not my thing sorry. Myself and my other riding buddies got no educational value from the day. waste of petrol and rubber. Would suggest you try another organisation if you need a track day.

Fantastic experience: Did the ACC Ride Forever course with Paul and then sat my Restricted with him. I was the only scooter rider amongst motorcyclists on the Ride Forever course but felt included and the training increased my awareness and gave me confidence to tackle urban and rural riding. The test went well helped by Paul being calm and friendly.
