Fantastic experience: I went from never having driven a car before to passing my restricted test first try thanks to DriverEd. Ryan was such a good instructor who made me feel completely at ease and calm, and helped me gain confidence in my driving. Starting with his driving simulator which was a really good tool to start with and I would highly recommend for those who are a little nervous about starting to drive. The practice driving tests were super helpful for when I sat the real test.

Fantastic experience: Ryan is awesome. All our boys (and their mates!) really enjoyed their time with Ryan as he relates so well to the kids and has a calm and happy nature. He also has a simulator with various programmes - the Hazards programme is a fantastic way for the kids to experience all the possible Hazards they haven't been exposed to yet - so important for young drivers. Fantastic experience: AMAZING Our son (with ASD) had lessons with Ryan almost each week for a couple of months. He had a couple of sessions in the simulator, which was a game changer for his confidence, then he was on SH2 and into town. When Ryan felt he was ready, the test was booked and he passed the first time. We didn’t teach him at all, it was 100% Ryan. His calm and happy nature made the whole experience enjoyable for our boy and as parents, it was a huge relief to know that things were working out so well. Fantastic experience: I learnt to drive though Ryan from DriverEd. I started with simulator lessons to help build up my confidence behind the wheel. When I was ready, I moved on to driving a practice car. This was a scary step but I felt encouraged throughout the whole process. Now, I feel more confident with driving and have the skills to back me up. I have bought my own car and passed my restricted test. I would highly recommend DriverEd to anyone learning to drive, especially if they are apprehensive or fearful about driving.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Ryan from Driver Ed. Our son started in the simulator, progressed to driving on the road in the Driver Ed's dual braking car and finally to lessons driving his own car. He has just passed his restricted driving test. Fantastic experience: The lesson was really good! He gave me clear instructions of what to do and what not to do. I learned a lot of road rules that I didn’t know and he taught me how to do a perfect parallel parking and when to indicate and use my mirrors. He was really nice and welcoming and I was confident to do my restricted 2 days later which I actually passed thanks to Ryan!

Not only does he know his stuff but he also knows how to impart that to his students in an incredibly encouraging and supportive manner. Fantastic experience: Taking these lessons was really worthwhile, Ryan was able to teach me lots of new things in just the span of an hour, and by the end of it I would be feeling a lot more confident in my abilities as a driver. Only had two lessons with him before my restricted test, and I went from not knowing how to parallel park or do my proper mirror checks, to passing my test first try with no critical errors! Would definitely recommend :))

Fantastic experience: Ryan was so nice to come and take me for a driving lesson at 9:15am with only about 45 minutes notice. When i got there he was so nice and helpful. Ryan taught me some very useful tips for taking my restricted test and it’s really nice in a way that you genuinely just feel like he’s teaching you what you need to know and helping you on things that could be improved to get full marks, as opposed to just like giving you orders he is good at exposing really well. 2 days later i took my real test and passed!! thanks so much ryan :)

Ryan gave her lots of tips and tricks and helped to trust in her ability to drive again.

Then after a few lessons using his simulator I was able to transfer that onto the road and it ultimately helped me to pass my licence. The on road lessons were great and Ryan made everything so much easier for me to understand. Fantastic experience: If I can give Ryan 10 stars, I definitely would. I moved in NZ from Philippines and it’s a lot different as we drive on the other side of the road. I’ve also had my driver’s license from US but since it’s expired, I had to go and convert my overseas license by doing theory test and practical test. Ryan was so patient as I remember the first time I drove with him and I was really scared because I feel like a learner again. He’s helped me a lot get that confidence back and he is really good at reminding me about the things I should focus on especially while I am driving. Even up to this date, whenever I am driving, I can hear him saying “IMBIG” so I make sure that I always Indicate Mirrors Blind spot Indicate Go (when safe) He’s such an amazing driving instructor. Fantastic experience: My 17 year old son was incredibly nervous about sitting his restricted license. We had used other driving instructors before who my son found ok but then someone recommended Ryan who is kind calm and patient. Ryan was a saviour for us as he completely calmed my sons nerves and instilled confidence. My son passed his restricted thanks to Ryan....however we wished we had used Ryan right at the beginning. Ryan is the positive driving instructor all kids need!

Fantastic experience: It's definitely a wise choice that I booked the driving assessment and got feedbacks from Ryan before I took the practical test. He is very professional and well prepared. He knows the test roads and all the errors people might make very well. After the assessment I got a pdf of feedbacks and notice from him and I practiced the test roads several times. I have to say there is no way I can pass the test without his help. Highly recommend!
