Hampton Downs Motorsport Park

Fantastic experience: We had the absolute pleasure of kicking off the 2024 Christmas party period in Hampton Downs. We were a small group opting for the full package (go-karts, muscle cars & dining) and had an absolute blast. All the staff are incredibly welcoming and for us, complete newbies, made the experience unforgettable. Plus we have definitely not made it easy logistically and the team and their incredibly hands-on 'nothing is a trouble' attitude saved the day. Thank you very much from our whole crew at Emerald Drainage! We will see you again and recommend all around, so much to do and see in the motorsport park.

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for rides a professional bike and car must visit place for you . Additionally, if you like to have witnesses for professional bike racing and experience car racing you must consider the best option.

Fantastic experience: Last weekend we were part of a Company Christmas Party at the Go Kart track which was amazing, so much fun and the staff were epic. We then moved onto the main track where Sam (especially) was an absolute doll in getting my son a Hot Lap in a porsche with Andrew. Amazing food by Flying Trestles and the experience in general was outstanding. Cannot fault any part of the day!

Positive experience: Usually I always have a good time at Hampton Downs, although today I was a bit disappointed. I booked a track cruise with my car club and sadly my car didn’t pass wof in time (which is my fault), so I had my 28 day wof sheet. Asked the staff if I could still go on with my sheet and two staff members confirmed that I could. Once I get down to the lane I’m told by a different person that I can’t go on track just for safety reasons which is understandable, and that I could get a refund. It was just quite frustrating that I was told I could go on track by different people then when I go for a refund I am told I can’t get a refund but I can book in another track cruise months down the line. The staff confused me quite a lot so probably won’t come back for the track cruise that they re-booked me in for, as I don’t want to get mucked around with again.

Fantastic experience: I was lucky enough to have a ride in the Lamborghini today and can only rate this experience as one the best things I have done. A special thanks to the staff who made my whole family welcome and made the whole day so special.

Fantastic experience: We were fortunate to be able to participate in driver training through Tracktime Driving Academy at Hampton Downs Raceway. This is not only a great venue, but the instructors were superb. My team had a great time, as well as learning many useful and potential life saving tips and skills. I highly recommend this to any employers out there, especially those who have employees who drive as part of their roles. It was a great experience and one I will remember for a long time.

Positive experience: The Jeep Wrangler 4WD Experience was a gift for my 18yo daughter. She loved the experience, and had a great instructor. The course is well set up for someone who has never done 4WD before - several different types of thrills. Two unexpected factors - only eight minutes behind the wheel on the 4WD course, and the $2000 bond you have to pay before being allowed to proceed. The website said a thirty minute experience (hopefully they have changed this, after my feedback on the day), and maybe that bond was mentioned in the fine print but we weren't aware of it. Imagine if something unexpected had happened and the 8 mins had cost us over $2000! As long as you are aware of those two things, you should have a great time.

Positive experience: A great stop off for coffee on our way south. Not only a great place for petrol heads, but the cafe has coffee interests as well.

Fantastic experience: I did the u-drive v8 mustang experience and had the time of my life i cannot recommend this place enough. i had dave teaching me the lines and race track he did a perfect job at teaching me, he was very kind, make sure you spend the extra 150 on extra laps and video footage 100% worth the money, i cant wait to be back early next year

Fantastic experience: Awesome staff awesome time Karting best part I could race with my 17yr old son whos has special needs and is in a wheel chair next to me as he is not able to drive!! wicked experience for him he loves going fast and this was 1 wicked way to get the wind in his hair great support in the kart as he can't really hold himself up so would highly recommend for any one and any child with high needs A+++ Also my daughter loved her hot laps in the Lamborghini (supercar fast dash) for her 14th birthday present she can't wait to tell her friends and would definitely love to do it again. Wicked staff totally helpful and friendly I think we r pretty lucky to b able to have such experiences available to enjoy A+++

Fantastic experience: Great facility for both Motorsport and go karting. You will have to sign up via a track day organiser of you want to use the track. It is always in a condition that you can race safely. A go kart track is also on site which has all the new timing technology so you get a print of your performance at the end. Great fun

Fantastic experience: We needed Scotsman from Australia to come to buy and make this circuit a proper racing venue. I salute you Tony Quinn, you are genius sir, you deserve a knighthood for services to a racing community in New Zealand. Proper racing circuit with brilliant views of the whole track and world class facilities. Food is also great. And what is better than go there and watch Aussie GT series over 101 laps. BRILLIANT!
